I have always had an interest in the performing arts from a very young age. My passion for the arts has lead me to pursue a multitude of different artistic mediums at both a collegiate and professional level. I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, having graduated with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in theater, and one in communications along with a certificate in film studies.

As a performer I have had the privilege and joy of being able to study acting, singing, stage movement, dance, circus and improvisation. My love of theatrical acting spurred me to branch out into the realm of film where I have become a director, editor, sound designer, and screenwriter.

I have trained in several dance styles including ballet (en pointe), jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, contemporary West African, and belly dance. I was a competitive ballet and hip hop dancer in my teens and joined the award-winning Dhadak Fusion Dance Team when I got to college, studying and performing a fusion of several international dance styles including Bollywood, bhangra and Bharatanatyam.

I have a particular interest in exploring stories from voices who are typically marginalized both in our industry and in society as a whole. I think that it is imperative for the mainstream arts industries to embrace and highlight the voices of women, people of color, people in the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, people from varying religious and spiritual backgrounds, and other voices whose stories have not primarily been given the chance to be told.

I am always looking to learn new skills in the many various areas of the arts. I am passionate about creating and storytelling and hope to collaborate with other artists who share this enthusiasm.
